Recruitment Consultant

Salary: £26,000-£38,000 per year + Uncapped monthly commission

Address: Fifth Floor, Interchange place, 151 – 165 Edmund Street, Birmingham, B3 2TA

This is full time, permanent role, you’ll be working Monday – Friday. Please note this role is fully office based.

Working Hours

• Term time: Monday 7.30-4.30pm, Tuesday-Thursday 7.30-5pm, Friday 7.30-4.30pm
• School holidays: Reduced hours, approx. 8.30-3.30pm

The role of a Recruitment Consultant;

• This is a 360 sales role, therefore you will be responsible for all aspects of the recruitment process
• Business development, contacting new and existing clients to generate opportunities
• Working with clients, identifying their needs and requirements to fill their vacancies
• Attending client meetings/school visits
• Shortlisting CVs, screening applicants over the phone and interviewing/registering candidates
• Filling vacancies within an agreed time scale
• Building a pipeline of candidates to ensure you can react quickly to your clients’ needs
• Maintain regular contact with your candidates and clients, building excellent relationships

Key skills needed to be successful in a Recruitment Consultant role;

• Previous sales experience or have worked in a target and KPI focused role
• Working towards targets and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Can work well under pressure
• Confident and resilient personality
• Strong communications skills with the ability to build rapport
• Someone who is able to communicate effectively and at all levels with clients, candidates and colleagues alike
