The Religious Education Teacher role is a full-time contract, starting in September initially for one term with the possibility of an extension for the right educator. Pay is commensurate with experience on the main teaching pay scale. The successful applicant should be enthusiastic and ambitious and would be interested in developing their role within the department.

Religious Education Teacher Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and effective Religious Education lessons across all age and ability ranges
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth
• Coordinating with other staff, including the Curriculum Lead, Head of Department and Head of Year
• Creating engaging lessons for all learners, of all abilities
• Assess and evaluate student progress, providing support for areas of growth
• Support provided by colleagues on planning, teaching and assessing

Religious Education Teacher Qualifications and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant academic qualifications
• Applicants can be newly qualified or experienced that can demonstrate ambition and passion
• Strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential
