Are you an experienced Administrator with an Enhanced DBS looking for a short-term opportunity? Our client is currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join their team as a Temporary School Administrator at a reputable educational institution in Newcastle.

Job Title: Temporary School Administrator (Enhanced DBS required)

Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne

Start date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00

Hourly Pay: £11.50 – £12.50 per hour paid weekly via Office Angels

Responsibilities:

• Provide general administrative support to the school, including handling phone calls, emails, and inquiries from students, parents, and staff.
• Undertake the management of manual and computerised record / information systems, including the analysis, manipulation and production / presentation of reports.
• Manage the school’s filing system, ensuring all documents are stored and retrieved appropriately.
• Maintain accurate student records, including attendance, admissions, and data entry.
• Assist with the organisation of school events, meetings, and schedules.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure the smooth operation of daily administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working within an Educational environment is essential.
• Enhanced DBS check is mandatory due to the nature of the role
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
