Hourly pay rate: £29.77/hour (£24.97/hour + £4.80/hour as payment for annual leave)
Hours: 21 hours (Monday 09:00-15:00, Tuesday 09:00-16:00, Thursday 09:00-16:45, Friday 09:00-15:30)
We are currently seeking to appoint an inspirational and enthusiastic Physics Lecturer to join our Technical & Vocational Skills department.
In this rewarding post you will be teaching and assessing on the STEM BTEC provision across levels 2 – 4. Until the end of the 2020/2021 Academic Year you will also be specifically teaching across level 3 Science, level 3 Engineering and delivering the Apprentice Framework in Engineering.
Working closely with the Head of Department and the rest of the departmental team, you will have the chance to share your knowledge and skills with learners to help them achieve at the highest level as well as driving continuous improvement within the College. You will act as a personal tutor, promote attendance, participate in team meetings and contribute to the planning, development and review activities within your subject area.
