Timeplan Education Group Ltd
Timeplan Education are currently supporting an independent SEN school in West London. They support children and young adults aged 7 – 19 with an EHCP for Autism, SEMH and associated complex needs. They are currently recruiting an experienced Sciecne Teacher to work full time, via the agency.
Shortlisted candidates must have proven experience in the UK, ideally in a SEN setting. Experience with Autism, Behavioural and mental health difficulties would be advantageous, however the school are open to meeting with strong mainstream teachers, who have an interest in SEN. Classes generally have 6-8 pupils’ students of varying abilities; therefore, it is imperative you are confident planning inclusive, individualised lessons. There will also be TAs in the class. They are looking for dynamic positive teachers. You will also be responsible for carrying out assessments and reporting progress to SLT. Ideally you will have valid Team Teach training or be prepared to complete the training during the school holidays. The post holder must have QTS or QTLS.
The school is very therapeutic in its approach, working closely with therapists, families, and outside agencies to support students to overcome their mental health difficulties, while working to gain the best academic outcome.
For candidates who commit, the school can offer excellent rates of pay, as well as a friendly and stable working environment.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. You will be required to apply for an Enhanced DBS if your current DBS is not on the update service.
Timeplan is a committed Equal Opportunities Employer and therefore will not discriminate on the grounds of age, gender, race, ethnicity, disability, or sexual orientation.
