Secondary Design Technology Teacher – Cardiff
Supply Desk are a nationwide education recruitment company specialising in Secondary, Primary and SEN education. We place our teaching staff in day-to-day and long-term placements in an extensive number of English and Welsh medium schools across Cardiff, Newport and the valleys. We are currently looking to recruit qualified DT teachers, and will happily accept applications from NQTs.
Your role as a Secondary DT teacher would be filling positions on a supply basis in secondary schools in Cardiff and the surrounding area, ensuring that pupils receive a consistently high standard of education. You will need excellent classroom management skills and a thorough knowledge of the current National Curriculum. You will encourage positive pupil development and monitor pupil’s progression. As well as covering Design Technology, there may be some general cover required.
This is a great opportunity to be introduced to a range of secondary schools across the South East Wales area and potentially gain a long-term role. This is also an opportunity for a casual and flexible position, where you have full control of when you want to work.
What you’ll need to succeed
Experience teaching in a secondary school
Energetic and positive attitude
QTS
EWC registration or willing to apply
Current DBS registered on the update system or willing to apply
