A SEN Class Teacher is wanted in Theale – ASAP

If you relate to all those, and are passionate about working with children with Social, emotional and mental health needs gain access to education, then a large SEN school in Theale are looking for a SEN teacher to work as a the main classroom teacher, able to guide and manage a class SEN TA to educate and support the needs, some complex, of students.

The children within this school may have a diagnosis ranging from ASD to ADHD and Mental Health needs such as anxiety, depression or recovering from trauma. A patient and understanding personality type is essneital for this role.

In this teaching position, you could really make a difference to the lives of children, be a consistent support to their education and provide them with a trusting adult relationship.

The role will include:

• Lond Term
• ASAP
• SEN focused classroom Teacher working with students with trauma and anxiety
• Theale
• The ability to design and deliver engaging and creative lesson plans
• Management of classroom Learning Support Assistant
• Passionate, resilient and empathetic personality a must have
• Any previous experience with SEN children essential
• Further training and development provided including safeguarding and ASD
• Supportive school and team around you
• Good communication skills

For an ECT applying, you will be given a mentor from SLT to help ensure you have a successful induction and career at the school. More experienced teachers applying, there will be opportunities to grow and personally develop your skills.
