About the Role: As an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant in Barking and Dagenham, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism. Working closely with our dedicated team of professionals, you will provide personalised care and assistance to meet the individual needs of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with personal care needs, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.
• Support learning activities under the guidance of teaching and senior staff as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.
• Provide lunchtime support and assist with specialised programs, such as hydrotherapy as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.
• Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.

What We’re Looking For:

• Safeguarding training or knowledge as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.
• Previous experience with SEN, either personally or professionally as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a compassionate nature as an SEN Personal Care Teaching Assistant.
