A two-form entry primary school based in Islington is looking for a SEND teaching assistant to join their support staff team ASAP
The ideal teaching assistant will be committed, enthusiastic and have demonstrable SEND experience. Ideally, you will have extensive experience working with Autism and have an understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum. The pupil requires a teaching assistant who is calm and consistent when managing behaviour. You will mostly be working on a 1:1 basis with a Key Stage 1 pupil in a collaborative manner with the Class Teacher and SENCO to support the child’s learning and progress. Experience with PECS is also a requirement.
This is a full-time role to start in ASAP and continue for the rest of the academic year.
PAY – £80 – £90 a day
