Teach Now is currently working on recruiting for a special educational needs teaching assistant to support a year 2 pupil on a one-to-one basis. this is a long-term role that would start immediately, January 2024, until the end of the academic year.

This school is a 3-form entry primary school which has been rated Good by Ofsted this schools is located in the heart of Waltham forest. Our schools boast a friendly, Inclusive, and collaborative atmosphere.

Role Description: we are currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated 1:1 teaching assistant to support a year 2 boy with difficulties reading (dyslexia). This role offers the opportunity to be an integral part of our inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 1:1 support to a Year 2 boy with Dyslexia.
• Assist in reading
• keep the child motivated
• Collaborate with the classroom teacher to create an inclusive learning environment
• Utilise your caring approach to enhance the student s educational experience.
• A patient and supportive approach to enhance the student s learning journey.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
• Sensitivity and adaptability in supporting a student with Dyslexia or difficulties learning.
• A patient and supportive approach to enhance the student s learning journey.
