Job Title: SEN Teacher
Location: Isleworth/Hillingdon – plus Uxbridge Campuses
Salary: From £36,000 per annum, dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

We are looking for an experienced SEN Teacher to join our fantastic team at Syon Manor College. As an SEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching students according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the Further Education curriculum in a way that maximises students’ achievement and ability to develop.
About the role
This is a great opportunity for a SEN Teacher who wants to spend less time on paperwork and more time developing creative learning opportunities for students with varied and complex needs. Your work will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure and you will be working in a college where we maintain a strong safeguarding culture, where students are listened to, respected and involved in as many decisions as possible.

We are looking for a SEN Teacher, experienced in teaching Further Education, who shares our vision to build incredible futures by empowering vulnerable young adults in the UK, to be happy and to make their way in the world.
Whilst previous experience of working in an SEN/ASC environment would be desirable, excellent teaching skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are just as important.
Educated to Qualified Teacher Status, you will be calm, engaging, resilient, and have an innovative style of teaching, motivated by helping every child to reach their potential.

Syon Manor College is a new post-16 provision for young people with autism and complex needs. The college will offer a broad curriculum of academic, vocational and life skills learning including BTECs, GCSEs, Functional Skills and ASDAN accreditations which will work towards Employability or Independence and Duke of Edinburgh qualifications.
For over 16 years Options Autism have provided care and education to pupils, young people and adults with autism, complex needs and learning difficulties.
