The school
Monarch Education, on behalf of our client school, are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic SEN Teacher who can join a team of professionals. The pupils are aged 11 to 19 years, with a diverse range of learning disabilities (PMLD, SLD, MLD, SEMH), combined with medical conditions, physical disabilities, visual impairment, hearing impairment, and/ or autism. Successful candidates may be asked to work on the school or college site, in one of five pathways (Thrive, Explore, Inspire, Specialist Provision, or Nurture), either on a 1:1 basis or as part of a class.
The role is both physically and emotionally demanding and involves working with some pupils with challenging behaviour. You will be part of an excellent team and will be given extensive support to

The teacher would be expected to demonstrate that they are competent in using a range of teaching strategies to engage and develop pupils’ understanding to ensure that they reach their full potential.
