Milk Education are working with a SEN School in Southwark, who are looking to appoint a SEN Teacher with a good understanding of the UK Curriculum. You will be supporting students with complex needs, PMLD and ASC to support all ages from 5-25 years. There a maximum of 15 students in the class, and there is a number of support staff within. To apply for this role you must: QTS preferred Understanding of Complex needs, PMLD and Autism Available full time Key Responsibilities: Teaching all areas of the KS1 Phase – KS4 Curriculum Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of secondary-age pupils Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class, you will share planning with the other Teachers and work collaboratively Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation Confident in SEN, SEMH and De-escalation Required Skills & Experience: SEN/SEMH Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Good organisational and time-management skills. Energy, enthusiasm, patience, dedication, resilience, and self-discipline.
