2 form entry school based in Erdington are looking for a Teaching Assistant to start soon as possible, to undertake 1-1 support with a Reception child with autism. The child has significant needs and struggles to build relationships with other children. The successful candidate will have knowledge of working with children with ASD and the ability to form relationships quickly.
The child is significantly below the expected level and needs a kind and caring candidate to nurture and encourage learning and development. Some personal care may be required when necessary.
Candidates will be required to have the following:
*Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant
*Experience working with SEND children (at least 6 months)
*Flexible attitude to work
*Strong behaviour management
*Be able to provide 2 years references
