* do you have experience working in schools with children who have speech and language needs?
* do you have a good understanding of the early year’s curriculum and how to move children’s learning on?
* do you have experience in working one-to-one with a child and supporting their needs based on their EHCP targets?

We are looking for someone to work with a child joining us in September in Early Years who will need full time support. The contract will be tied to this child, however you will be directed by the class teacher and may also work with other children in the class.

Can you give us:

* experience of working with individuals who are non-verbal or have limited verbal communication including the use of PECs or a similar system
* understanding the sensitivity required to meet a child’s personal needs
* understanding of the key role played by support staff in the education of children in moving learning on and helping children become more independent

* a good level of numeracy, grammar and literacy
* effective communication skills.
