ABC Teachers are recruiting for experienced SEND Teaching Assistants to join our supply pool, and work in a variety of special educational needs schools in Shropshire. Whether you’re seeking flexible work alongside your other commitments or a full time and long-term role, we’d love to hear from you!
Requirements:
– Relevant and referenceable experience of working within a classroom or SEND setting.
– A positive attitude, able to create a calm and inclusive atmosphere.
– Good knowledge of the curriculum and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit pupils with all abilities.
– A Teaching Assistant or Support work qualification would be desirable but not essential.
– Reliable, adaptable and able to work alongside a team
Safeguarding Requirements
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. All staff must hold an enhanced DBS disclosure which must also be registered to the Update Service (or be willing to allow us to process one for you), need to provide professional or academic references and attend a video interview(due to Covid-19 we are unable to conduct face-to-face interviews).
