SEN Teaching Assistant required for Secondary School in Enfield!

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or Youth Worker looking for a new and rewarding opportunity?

Tradewind recruitment is recruiting for a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a secondary school in Enfield supporting a young man in year 8. The boy in question has been excluded from his previous school and requires a nurturing individual that can easily build rapport and support his social and emotional needs.

You will be with the pupil on a 1:1 basis across all classes and work with the parents to encourage his learning and development in a mainstream setting.

The role would suit an active individual perhaps from a sporty or performing arts background. You will need to be interactive, inspiring and engaging. In return you will get to see hands on the effect of the relationship you have directly built. What could be more rewarding?

This role is to start ASAP until the end of the academic year. Working hours are 8:15am – 3.30 pm, Monday to Friday, term time only.

The school is looking for:

• Previous experience working within a Secondary school setting is preferred but not essential
• Experience working with students with either SEN or challenging behaviour
• Candidates with a sporty or performing arts background

The school is located in Enfield with excellent access to public transport links and a school carpark.
