SEN Teaching Assistant – KS2

LTA / Reed Education are seeking an SEN Teaching Assistant for a Primary School in the Lancaster area!

The role is a new full-time position covering 5 days per week from Monday to Friday, 8:45-15:15. The role is a long-term but temporary position, starting on the 8th of January 2024 and may be ongoing for the right candidate.

The candidate must have a Teaching Assistant qualification/experience.

In this role, you will provide both one-to-one support to a pupil in KS2 along with general classroom support.

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:•Monitoring targets for future progress•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice•Excellent behaviour management skills
