SEN TEACHING ASSISTANTS / LEARNING SUPPORT ASSISTANTS

£100 PER DAY

Brixton (SW2)

MONDAY – FRIDAY 8AM – 4PM

The successful applicants will have:

• Previous experience working with SLD, PMLD and Additional Complex Needs (Physical Impairments).
• Manual Handling (Mobility) / Personal Care / Toileting experience and Training.
• Track record of supporting vulnerable individuals.
• Ideally experience working with children and/or young people.
• Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check.

The role will consist of:

• Offering support to the class teacher.
• Provide support for individuals pupils, ensuring their safety and access to varied learning activities.
• Classes that incorporate different learning methods/techniques – visual aided learning, sensory learning/play etc.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans.
• Support aspects of personal and intimate care
• Attending weekly onsite CPD (Continuing Personal Development)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide professional related references
