We are working with a brilliant primary school within Hackney are looking for someone to join their team as a SEN Teaching Assistant. This school is renowned for its caring approach to its pupils providing continuous dedicated support to maximise their learning process day to day. As an LSA Teaching Assistant, you will be there to provide continuous in and out of lesion support to SEN pupils, tailoring the lesson to ensure a continuous learning flow.

SEN Teaching Assistant: Job Description

• SEN Teaching Assistant
• Conducting both 1:1 and group intervention sessions with SEN pupils
• Making learning accessible and engaging for a range of SEN (ASD, Dyslexia, ADHD)
• Assist in underpinning teachers’ lesson plans
• ASAP Start – Full Time – Full academic year
• £95 – £105 per day – Term time only
• Located in the Borough of Hackney

SEN Teaching Assistant: Person Specification

• Must have a desirable degree in the above subjects from a reputable University
• Good A Levels & GCSEs across the board
• Experience working with children with SEN
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, staff and parents
