Do you have a passion for supporting young people? Are you able to build strong relationships with individuals refusing to engage?

Empowering Learning are working with a mainstream primary school based in the central Derby area who are looking to appoint a teaching assistant on a full time basis from September ’24

This is a full time and permanent role and will begin in September 2024. The hours of work will be 8:30-4:00.

The school are looking for people who:

• Have experience dealing with challenging behaviour (Can be school based or another industry)
• Can build relationships with people refusing to engage within activities
• Have a resilient attitude and can battle through challenging situations
• Are willing to give 100% each day
• Can act as a positive role model to the children
• Are able to de-escalate challenging situations
• Are able to communicate effectively with children and staff
