SEND Teaching Assistant for Year 3 or 4

Location: Stockport
Salary: £90 – £100 per day
Start Date: September 2024
Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education are seeking a compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant for Year 3 or 4 to support primary level students with special educational needs in a secondary school in Stockport. This full-time position is available for a September 2024 start.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
  • Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers and SENCO to monitor student progress.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with primary level children with special educational needs.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and resilience.
  • Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
