The Role: SEND Teacher – Primary School – Croydon

As an SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering tailored lessons that meet the individual needs of students with a variety of additional learning needs. You will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of pupils with SEND
• Develop individual learning plans (IEPs) in collaboration with other staff and external specialists
• Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as necessary
• Work closely with parents, carers, and support staff to ensure each child receives holistic support
• Contribute to the wider school community and its inclusive ethos

Requirements: SEND Teacher – Primary School – Croydon

The ideal candidate will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience working with children with SEND in a primary school setting
• A thorough understanding of SEND Code of Practice and best practices in SEND education
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to differentiate lessons and provide personalised learning for individual students
• A passion for helping every child succeed, regardless of their individual challenges
