Are you an experienced and dedicated individual with a background in care? Do you have a real passion for making a real difference in the lives of students with profound and multiple learning disability (PMLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD) and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)?
If so, Leader Education is recruiting on behalf of a SEND school who cater for pupils aged between 2 to 19 years old. Please note that it is essential that candidates have a Moving and Handling qualification and this can be provided free of charge. The role will begin on a supply basis, but will become permanent after a successful trial period.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a committed SEND Teaching Assistant to join our SEND school, where you will have the opportunity to work with students who have profound and complex disabilities, many of whom are on the autism spectrum. As a school support worker, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the growth and development of our students, fostering a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
