Location of the residential SEAL break Pen Y Bryn, Newtown. Wales.
Travel: to this location would be at the start of each SEAL break, then residential until the end of the break (3days / 4 nights). In person, face to face introductions with the school take place prior to the break and on completion of the break, follow up visits are required with the school (travel allowance paid).
Overnight additional payments to basic salary, £55 per overnight residentail stay.
Role and responsibilities
We are seeking an exceptional candidate with previous teaching experience at either advanced Teaching Assistant or Teacher status, who is proactive, energetic, and passionate about supporting young carers and vulnerable children, with a programme of Social Emotional Active Learning during residential breaks to give enable then to cope with anxiety, confidence, anxiety and learning.
As the SEAL Leader you be an integral part of our exceptional team with the responsibility of contacting schools / referring agents in the locality (within 150 miles) to promote our SEAL services, build a programme with the school / referring agent to support the identified children prior to the residential break and for 4-6 weeks after the residential. You will identify, plan and deliver our services to a wide range of schools and communities to ensure identified children can access the unique services provided by Honeypot and are signposted to other skilled partners, as required.

Set days with the Operations Manager to accommodate the SEAL break
