TeacherActive are looking for a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to work in a fantastic school in the Cardiff area. The ideal Teaching Assistant will need to have experience working with children with various special educational needs. 1:1 and in a group setting. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your CPD and keep everyday exciting.

The ideal Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant should have the following:

• At least Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment.
• Experience working with children with special educational needs in a 1:1 setting.
• A calm, patient and caring personality.
• Good communication skills.
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines.

The ideal Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant will be paid £62 – £72 a day. All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
