Position: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)Location: IslingtonContract: Fixed term contract starting ASAP until the end of the academic yearSalary: £425+ per week

As an SEN TA, you will have the rewarding role of working 1:1 with a non-verbal Year 1 student with ASC. Your compassion, patience, and dedication will be invaluable in providing personalized support to help this student thrive academically and socially. Your responsibilities will include implementing individualized education plans, facilitating communication through alternative methods, and creating a nurturing learning environment tailored to the student’s unique needs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children with ASC is preferred
• Understanding of various communication strategies and techniques
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Relevant qualifications or training in special education (desirable but not essential)
