Job Title: Special Needs Teaching Assistant

Location: South East London

Salary: Day Rate £85-£110

Job Type: Part-Time

Job Description:

We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and support the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with children with SEND and support their learning and development.
• Assist the class teacher in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help children with SEND to develop their social, emotional, and communication skills.
• Provide one-to-one support to children with SEND as required.
• Work with other professionals such as speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and educational psychologists to support children with SEND.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience of working with children with SEND.
• Knowledge of SEND and the strategies used to support children with SEND.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate and caring nature.
• Must be inline with GDPR
