ABC Teachers are recruiting for an experienced Sports Coach to work in Secondary schools as a Cover Supervisor in the Derby area. The role is flexible and can be full or part time to suit your needs with immediate start.

About the role

You will be expected to supervise and manage classrooms during the short-term absence of teachers by delivering pre-set lessons. You will need to manage student behaviour effectively, promoting a positive and inclusive atmosphere.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Sports Coach you will:

• Previous experience working with children within the last 10 years.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to adapt to various subjects and teaching styles.
• Flexibility to work and adapt to different situations.
• Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship).

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

• Previous experience working with children within the last 10 years.
