Well qualified and experienced within Psychology.
To have great leadership skills and be able to work as part of a team.
To possess a passion within psychology and for this to be demonstrated within your practice by delivering high quality teaching.
Be able and confident to deliver outcomes at GCSE and A-level.
Have a strong understanding of the psychology curriculum.
Your Duties:
Working with 11-18-year-old’s, being able to be a positive and professional role model.
To deliver high quality teaching and learning across department.
To contribute to new ideas in order to develop teaching and learning ensuring the best outcomes for students.
To monitor teaching and learning across the department, ensuring the quality of teaching and learning is consistent.
To be leading and working as part of a team and as leader be able to maintain and build effective teamwork across the department, ensuring to have effective communication skills.
To be working with the Senior Leadership Team.
To make sure the day-to-day management of the curriculum is effective.
Managing daily deployment of staff, this also involves arrangements for staff sickness.
To be able to have a good understanding of how students learn effectively and to keep up to date with developments within the psychology curriculum.
You will be leading the development and implementation of the curriculum through syllabuses, Scheme of Work and resources that is clear and relevant.
You will oversee the department’s budget.
Requirements:
Teaching degree in Psychology.
Experience within teaching in Psychology.
