Salary: £120 – £250 per day (dependent on experience)

GSL Education are seeking Supply Teachers to support various Secondary Schools in Tunbridge Wells. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are looking to broaden their teaching experience and enjoy flexible working arrangements.

Supply Teachers Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to secondary students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, ensuring continuity in education.
• Manage the classroom effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Engage with students of varying abilities, ensuring all students can access the curriculum.
• Adapt quickly to different school settings and follow school policies and procedures.
• Mark and assess work where required, ensuring students receive valuable feedback.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and students, maintaining a professional attitude.

Ideal Supply Teachers must:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with secondary teaching experience.
• Have a passion for teaching and the flexibility to work across different schools and subjects.
• Be adaptable, resourceful, and capable of handling different classroom settings with ease.
• Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
