Are you a teaching assistant or Learning Support Assistant looking for long term, temporary work?

Reed Education Southampton are currently seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants and/or Learning Support Assistants to fulfil a number of short term and long term, temporary positions across Hampshire. These roles can be Primary, Secondary or SEN.

At Reed Education Southampton, we run the Hampshire Supply Service through our branch, working with over 500+ schools across the whole of Hampshire. We support Primary, Secondary and Specialist Schools, including alternative provisions and Pupil Referral Units.

As the Teaching Assistant/Learning Support Assistant, you will be the main support figure between students and their learning journeys. You role is multifaceted, supporting the class teacher, preparing learning materials and mentoring students on a 1:1 or small group basis. Your dedication within the classroom shapes minds and fosters curiosity, inspiring academic growth.

For these roles, you will be/will need:

• Previous experience within a school is desired
• Good availability of up to 5 days per week is ideal, but not essential
• Open to working on a 1:1 basis or small group with pupils
• For SEN – Previous experience is needed
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
• Right to work in the UK

The salary for this role currently stands between £12.50 to £14 per day, dependant on experience.
