Job Description Job Title: EYFS Teacher for SEN Independent School Job Type: Permanent Location: Norwich Days and hours of work: Monday to Friday. Start Date: Immediately Salary: £30000 We are recruiting on behalf of our client for teachers for their Children s services across Norwich. This a fantastic opportunity to work with an independently run provider based in Norwich with new homes currently being built! Our client provides residential care for adults and children with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour in small residential homes. ROLES AND RESPONSIBLITIES To plan and teach a group of pupils aged between 12-18 with a variety of specialist needs including learning disabilities, ASD and mental health conditions within our young person s residential home. Support in the formulation of education programmes, alongside the Education director for all of our homes within Norwich. To ensure that pupils experience an educational programme that is personalised to their particular needs as identified through a robust assessment system To establish effective social communication plans for pupils To lead a range of learning, developing motivating and engaging opportunities Develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils Carry out administrative tasks including updating and maintaining records of pupils progress.
