Salary: £83.40-£98.26 per day depending on experience

Location: Brighton & Hove

Hours: 8am 3.30PM

Start Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about working with children and looking for day to day work or something more long term? At Supply Desk we currently have a number of openings at different Key Stage levels and both full time and part time opportunities are available. If you have experience working with children in any capacity or maybe you work in care or the health sector and want to transfer your skills to education then this role could be for you.

About the Role:

• Working with the class teacher and assisting in the delivery of lessons
• Manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work
• Foster positive behaviour and promote learning both inside and outside the classroom
• Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Promote effective communication between students, teachers and parents/guardians

Requirements:

• Some TA experience would be useful but not essential as full training provided
• Experience working with children or a care background
• Ability to be flexible and creative
• Proven track record of positively impacting the lives of children
• Excellent communication skills; verbal/written and reading comprehension
• Create a safe calm and positive environment for the pupils
• Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check on the Update Service, or willing to apply
