Teacher in Brick & Multi-Crafts
Pay : £21.63 (unqualified) or £24.27 (qualified) per hour
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Associate Teacher within the Construction department at City College Southampton.
Are you interested in moving to a career in teaching young people and apprentices a skill? We are looking for someone with experience and qualifications in either Brickwork or Carpentry who is interesting in teaching young people the skills to enter the workplace.
The successful applicant will hold a teaching qualification and trade qualification to at least Level 3 in your subject specialism of brickwork and or level 2 in Carpentry. You will have gained the necessary experience from working within industry, or performing a similar role within an educational context. Delivering and maintaining standards expected by Awarding Bodies, Industry and Learners, and will include the delivery of Apprenticeships and to full time students.
The hourly rate quoted is dependent upon your skills, experience and qualifications and includes an enhancement for annual leave and lesson preparation/marking.
