The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced aviation engineer to join a vibrant team providing an outstanding learning experience, through the delivery of engaging teaching, learning and assessment, which prepares our apprentices for the next stage in their career. The team you’ll be joining is energetic and diverse, with colleagues ranging from recent graduates to those with over 35 years’ experience within the Engineering industry to those who have been teaching with us for less than a year.
You’ll be working with Rolls Royce apprentices ranging from 16 to 18 years old and adult apprentices on a variety of courses including the Aerospace Engineering and Machining apprenticeship standard. You will be predominantly working in a classroom environment supporting apprentices with their knowledge, skills and behaviours, and completion of their portfolio of evidence.
Through the delivery of engaging teaching, learning and assessment, you will ensure they gain an in depth understanding of subjects such as;
You’ll have industry experience within the Engineering sector and a degree or HNC/D in the subject. We are looking for someone with great interpersonal skills, and a desire to share their knowledge and experience with the next generation of aviation engineers.
If you are not a qualified teacher, no problem! If you have industry knowledge, we will help you achieve Qualified Teacher Status.
