Key Responsibilities
As a Teacher of Computing, you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging Computer Science lessons up to GCSE levelDevelop and implement curriculum plans aligned with national standardsPrepare students for GCSE examinations in Computer ScienceCollaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of teaching and learningInspire students to pursue further education and careers in technology-related fields
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Computer Science teacher who possesses:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentA degree in Computer Science or a related fieldKnowledge of the GCSE Computer Science curriculumAble to teach Computing at secondary level – applications from ECTs or more experienced colleagues both warmly welcomedStrong programming skills and the ability to teach various programming languagesExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPassion for technology and its applications in education
