This good secondary school has approached Hays seeking a Teacher of Drama to start after the February half term on a part time basis and continue until the end of this academic year.. The school is based in Wigan therefore easily accessible from all areas of the North West and has a good reputation locally.
Your new role
You will begin this role after the February half term on a part time basis and continue until the end of the academic year. You will be teaching mixed ability groups across KS3 and 4 so must have good differentiation skills. You will be required to do the planning and preparation of lessons and complete the marking and assessment of pupils work. As this role is long term you may also be required to attend departmental meetings and parents evenings along with other school functions.
What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this role you must have QTS/QTLS or be a Newly Qualified Teacher (NQT) and have experience teaching in the UK curriculum across KS3 and KS4. You will possess excellent subject knowledge across both key stages and have a strong presence in the classroom with a confident approach. You will be available to start after the February half term and continue in the role until the end of the academic year.
