Role Details
Position: Teacher of English and Media StudiesContract: Full-time, Maternity CoverDuration: Initially until the end of the academic year, with potential for extension to a full yearStart Date: January 2025Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

Teach English and Media Studies across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire and challenge studentsMonitor and support students’ progress, providing regular feedbackContribute to the development of curriculum resources and teaching materialsParticipate in extracurricular activities and school events

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher who:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentHas a passion for English and Media StudiesDemonstrates excellent subject knowledge and teaching skillsIs committed to raising student achievement and fostering a love for learningHas strong communication and interpersonal skillsIs adaptable and willing to contribute to the wider school community
