Tradewind Recruitment are looking to appoint a well-qualified and enthusiastic teacher of Geography who is committed to achieving high standards for all students. The client is looking for someone to teach Key Stage 3 & 4.
Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a resourceful, professional and effective teacher who has experience to teach Geography at GCSE. The successful candidate will teach across the full range of ability, including GCSE and an opportunity to teach A-level if desired but not essential. The aim of the Geography department at this school is to inspire the next generation of geographers through interactive and engaging lessons.
This role will involve teaching Geography under the direction of the Head of Department. You will participate in the planning, development and implementation of the schemes of work. You will make a positive contribution to the development of the schemes of the work of the department. You will help in the organisation and running extracurricular actives. As always you will adhere to the school’s discipline systems and be responsible for the marking and assessment of work along with departmental policies.
You may also be a Form Tutor and carry out the related duties in accordance with the general job description of a Form Tutor.

Hold QTS Status or QTLS
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks

Ideally be able to provide excellent references
