Job Summary:

As a Geography Teacher at at this outstanding school you will play a pivotal role in inspiring students to explore the world’s diverse landscapes, cultures, and environmental challenges. Your teaching will empower students with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate our interconnected world with understanding and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging and comprehensive geography curriculum aligned with national standards.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters intellectual curiosity and critical thinking.
• Use innovative teaching methods and resources to make geography come alive for students.
• Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support for growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
• Stay updated on current events and geographical developments to enrich classroom discussions.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community.
• Foster a love for geography and an understanding of its real-world applications.

Experience:

• Teaching certification (QTS) in geography or a relevant subject.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably at the secondary level.
• Passion for geography and a commitment to inspiring students.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
