Are you passionate about positively influencing the lives of young individuals? Smart Education is currently seeking a dedicated Physical Education Specialist / Sports Coach to become an integral part of a school situated in Shifnal, Shropshire.

Responsibilities

Aligned with the school’s mission statement, the successful candidate will effectively manage and instruct a group of students. They will establish effective channels of communication between the school, parents, carers, residential staff, and relevant multi-agencies. The role involves the planning and implementation of a curriculum based on the school’s scheme of work, delivering accredited courses, and tailoring plans to accommodate a diverse range of abilities to ensure all students can reach their potential. Creating a well-ordered, calm environment that is both stimulating and purposeful for all students is a key aspect of the position.

The school specialises in providing education to pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivering lessons to Primary up to P16 students.

Situated on the outskirts of Shifnal, the school boasts stunning grounds enveloped by rolling countryside. The staff are dedicated to delivering education in a therapeutic and trauma-informed manner.

The successful candidate will be required to provide 24 months references.

Qualifications Required: QTS.

Salary: £153.85 – £222.22 per day

Hours: 40 hours Monday to Friday
