Brockenhurst College is seeking to appoint a committed, enthusiastic and hardworking Lecturer to join the Sport and Exercise department. You will join us on a full-time, fixed term basis until July 2025, offering a competitive salary of£24,547 – £40,026 per annum (pay scale review pending)The successful candidates will be a qualified teacher and the applicants should be experienced in teaching and assessing across various Sport and Exercise courses students with a range of abilities.
The ability to offer expertise in more than one area would be a distinct advantage, whether this is within our BTEC courses, Exercise and Fitness courses or whether you have experience coaching within our targeted Sports Academies.
The Sport and Exercise department is an outstanding and very successful department, with some notable achievements both in the classroom and on the sports field. The department has over 15 members of staff who work to consistently improve the range and quality of provision offered at Brockenhurst.
The successful applicants will be excellent role models and caring members of staff who enjoy teaching 16-19-year-olds. They will have high expectations of their students, and a proven track record of good results within their teaching and assessment. They will be expected to contribute ideas and share resources with the team, with the aim of continuous development.
