TeacherActive are looking for an experienced teaching assistant in Leeds who is looking for full time work on a long term/permanent basis. This role is to support the class teacher in a year 5/6 class, involving small group work as well as some 121 individual support. This could be in reading, writing and phonics. This school also has a high number of SEN pupils, so experience of supporting special needs pupils is desirable.

Experience of working with children and relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential. This role would suit someone who is passionate and enthusiastic and is wanting to either gain more experience or someone who is looking for permanent work.

The position is temporary in the first instance with a permanent position becoming available for the right TA/ Teaching Assistant. This role is for someone who is looking for work 5 days a week, term time only.
