Teaching Assistant – Seaford – ASAP

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting teachers and students in the classroom, ensuring a positive and effective learning environment. Responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant:

• Assist the classroom teacher in planning and implementing educational activities.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere.
• Help prepare teaching materials and resources.
• Support students with special needs or those who require individualized attention.
• Supervise and ensure the safety of students during class and other school activities.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to assess student progress.
• Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.

Requirements to be a Teaching Assistant:

• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• A genuine passion for education and helping students succeed.
• Provide details for us to complete reference checks prior to employment
• You will require to pass a DBS check with no reprimands (we can assist you with this)
• You will have GCSE grades of A -C in Maths and English ( or equivalent )
