Job Title: Teaching Assistant Level 2

Location: Darwen

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to work on a 1:1 position with a child who dispays challenging behaviour. This position offers an exciting opportunity to support the learning and development of the pupil and to make a difference in the child’s learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in delivering high-quality education to students.
• Support students in their learning activities and provide one-on-one assistance as needed.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and productive atmosphere.
• Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Participate in team meetings and collaborate with colleagues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
• Previous experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
• Previous experience woirking with children with Special Educational Needs.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to work with diverse student populations.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting the learning process.
