ASC Teaching Assistant – Wigan

Prospero Teaching are seeking a Level 2 qualified Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 student on a 1-1 basis.

Experience, Training and Qualifications:

• You must have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent
• Experience working with children with complex needs is essential
• You must be comfortable providing personal care including nappy changes
• Experience with sensory activities (desirable but not essential)
• Up to date Safeguarding certificate within the last year (training can be provided if necessary)

Contract Details:

• Location: Wigan
• Role- ASC Teaching Assistant
• Hours – 8:30am-1:15pm
• Start date – ASAP
• End date – Ongoing
• Type of work – temp to perm
• Full time/part time – part time
• Minimum rate of pay – 85 per day (dependant on experience)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional references
