Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will have a passion for education and a proven track record of supporting children with challenging behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, SENCO, and class teachers.
• Support pupils with their learning activities in the classroom.
• Work with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, as necessary.
• Assist with the development and implementation of Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care programs.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working with children with challenging behavioural needs is essential.
• NVQ Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) is desirable.
• Good communication skills.
• A patient and understanding approach and the ability to relate to children with various needs.
