Teaching Assistant – Cheshire West – Winsford / Northwich

Prospero are looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work within a school in the Cheshire West area. The strongest applicant will have confidence within the classroom, have worked in a classroom enviroment before, worked as a general or 1:1 TA before and has experience with SEND pupils.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location – Cheshire West – Winsford / Northwich
  • Position – Teaching Assistant
  • Type of work – Long Term
  • Start date – As soon as possible
  • Contract type – Long-term Temporary
  • Full time/part time – Full time
  • Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate 95 per day
  • Hours – 8:00am – 16:00pm

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent (Desirable)
  • Previous experience working with young people.
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional references.
