Having at least 6 months experience working with young people with special needs is crucial, as this position requires working with a variety of ages across KS2 to KS4, along with children with MLD, SLD and ASD. It brings new opportunities for the right candidate to develop their skills into the classroom. Ensuring enjoyment and fun are constantly present, will help this school achieve their aim of getting more children to engage in local activities.

The ability to provide personal care may be required due to the complex needs of the children.

Ideal candidates will have obtained a Level 3 in Childcare and Development or equivalent. It’s a brilliant opportunity with fantastic prospects of further long-term work.

The position is on a supply basis with the potential for a long-term contract. We are looking to fill this role as soon as possible for an April 2021 start.
